VENICE, Fla. (WWSB) – The Catholic Diocese of Venice in Florida celebrated the Episcopal Ordination and Installation of Bishop Emilio Biosca Agüero.
Bishop Biosca, a Capuchin Franciscan priest, will be the third bishop of the Diocese, succeeding the Most Rev. Frank J. Dewane, now Bishop Emeritus, who is retiring after 20 years of service (2007–2026), and Bishop John J. Nevins (1984–2007).
