VENICE, Fla. (WWSB) – The Venice City Council approved a request for additional patrol officers after a staffing study found the department is understaffed, particularly in patrol.
The study reviewed response times and the department’s ability to keep up with calls for service, and pointed to more resources and manpower as the solution.
