Coastal areas can expect showers and a few storms, mainly before midafternoon, with highs near 90 and heat index values near 101. Inland spots will be warmer, in the lower 90’s, with scattered storms and feels-like temperatures near 103.
Tuesday remains breezy, but rain chances start to ease. Coastal Sarasota and Manatee counties may see scattered storms with highs near 90, while inland areas reach the low 90s with only a small storm chance. By Wednesday, drier air brings mostly sunny skies, with lower 90s near the coast and mid-90s inland.
Thursday through Saturday looks hotter and quieter, though not totally dry. Coastal areas will run in the low to mid-90s with isolated afternoon storms.
