SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – The Sarasota Alliance for Historic Preservation is asking the public to help identify local historic resources that could be at risk, with nominations now open for its annual Six to Save list through Sept. 15.
The organization is asking community members to submit historic buildings, sites or cultural resources that could be lost to development, neglect or demolition. This is the seventh year of the program, which aims to draw attention to places considered worth protecting.
