SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A 17-year-old suspected in a double murder in Volusia County has been arrested in Ellenton, the U.S. Marshals Service said Wednesday.
The teenager was wanted for two counts of second-degree murder in the July 29 shooting deaths of Samson Campbell, 18, and Dustin Rose, 19 in DeLand.
The DeLand Police Department said Rose and Campbell were childhood friends. Campbell had recently relocated to Chicago. Rose was a cadet at the Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, and a member of the South Carolina Army National Guard…
