VENICE — One accused code violator showed up to a Venice code enforcement hearing Wednesday and one didn’t, but both got fined.
The first case on Magistrate Patrick Reilly’s agenda was a carryover from July, when he gave Hawks Run Development LLC until Aug. 1 to remove drainage obstructions from its property at Bird Bay or face a $250 per day fine until it did.
