VENICE — A proposed large-scale development east of Interstate 75 where a full interchange with State Road 681 is planned got the unanimous approval of the Sarasota County Commission Tuesday.
Palmer Ranch East, to be developed on 2,351 acres, includes up to 5,702 dwelling units and 1.48 million square feet of nonresidential development at build-out in 20 years if an optional town center is created.
