SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A changeable stretch of weather is ahead for the Suncoast. Today we will reach the lower 90s Tuesday, feeling as hot as 105 degrees before afternoon and evening thunderstorms develop. Heavy rain and gusty winds will be possible.
Wednesday brings fewer storms but stronger northeast winds, with gusts approaching 30 mph. Storm chances increase Thursday and become higher Friday through Sunday. Most storms will favor the afternoon and evening, with highs around 90 to 91 degrees.
