VENICE — Since it was heavily damaged by the 2024 hurricanes, the future of the South Jetty has been in financial and restoration purgatory.
On Friday, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers confirmed they are finishing up their major maintenance report they started earlier this year, a requirement by the federal government due to the extensive damage in the area.
