A Bradenton woman is among several people facing charges following a multi-year undercover investigation into illegal fishing and wildlife poaching in Florida.
Kayla Ann Boak, 36, faces charges of racketeering, conspiracy to commit racketeering and cheating, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. She could face up to 65 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
Boak is one of 10 people arrested following an investigation that FWC says uncovered illegal fishing activity across multiple Florida counties, including Manatee and Pinellas.
