POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A Sarasota man is in custody following a series of break-ins at a Lake Wales vehicle dealership early Thursday morning. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office reported that the incident began on March 5, 2026, at a car sales business located along US 27 South.
According to investigators, an unknown individual gained entry to several vehicles on the lot and a shipping container stored on the property.
