SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — The future of the Blackburn Point Bridge remains uncertain as county leaders consider whether to replace the nearly 100-year-old structure.
The bridge, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, could be demolished to make way for a new one. Sarasota County officials say the structure is well beyond its service life after decades of repairs.
