SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Thunder by the Bay just wrapped up one of its most successful years ever, raising $310,000 to support local children, teens, and adults with special needs, those at risk, and their families, according to Suncoast Charities for Children.
The 28th annual Thunder by the Bay Music & Motors Festival, held in February, drew thousands for a weekend of concerts, bikes, and community support. This year’s event featured headliners Night Ranger, 38 Special, and Montgomery Gentry, along with special guest Paul Teutul Jr.
Suncoast Charities for Children Executive Director Lucy Nicandri said the record-setting results were driven by strong community backing, sponsor support, a donation match from the James M.
