VENICE — Five new Venice police officers officially joined the force Tuesday at a swearing-in ceremony that involved their families from start to badge-pinning.
Chief Andy Leisenring administered the oath to Charlie Brown, Robert Escobedo, Gary Lipscomb, Zachary Beaudreault and Michael O’Brien, who swore on a Bible held by a family member, with Mayor Nick Pachota holding the microphone.
