Sarasota Man Facing Life Behind Bars After Years Of Alleged Abuse Uncovered

SARASOTA, Fla. – A Sarasota man is currently being held without bond following a lengthy investigation into the repeated sexual abuse of a child. Detectives with the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office took 40-year-old Noel Lopez-Cisneros into custody on April 23, 2026, after uncovering evidence of crimes stretching back over half a decade.

According to investigators, the abuse began in September 2020 and continued until the month of his arrest. Lopez-Cisneros was reportedly an acquaintance of the victim.
