VENICE — An Osprey man who hoped sending someone a video of him holding a gun would lead to a visit from a relative got a rendezvous with law enforcement instead.
Frederick Marshall Rhines Jr., 55, 400 block of Glenwood Ave., is charged with two felony counts of possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted Florida felon and two misdemeanor counts of contempt of court for violation of a domestic violence protection injunction by the possession of a firearm or ammo.
He’s being held in the Sarasota County Jail on bond of $30,000…
