SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) – The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash that happened early Sunday morning on southbound Interstate 75 in Sarasota County.
According to FHP, the single-vehicle crash occurred around 6:12 a.m. near mile marker 202. Troopers say the vehicle crashed into a pole, leaving one person dead at the scene.
Officials have not released the identity of the victim at this time…
