SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Bright stadium lights could soon pop up at a portion of Daffin Park and residents who live across the street are voicing their concerns.
The City of Savannah has been working on the installation of ballfield stadium lights at Daffin Park since 2023.
“We’ve run some surveys and a slight majority said they would be in favor of suitable park lighting,” Neighbor of Daffin Park Nadia Pidgeon said. “But it doesn’t make sense in terms of money spent or end product to have stadium lights in what is clearly an open park.”…
