Pooler City Council does away with in-person public comment period, implements online system

POOLER, Ga. (WSAV) — Pooler City Council will no longer offer an in-person public comment period in a move to make commenting more accessible, Mayor Karen Williams reported Thursday.

William’s announcement launched a mass discourse on social media, with some accusing the mayor and council of wanting to silence voters voices.
