TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (WTOC) – A man is in custody and a woman remains at large after a confrontation with a Tybee Island police officer conducting an investigation on Tybrisa Street.
Tybee Island PD said an officer was conducting an investigation on Tybrisa Street on May 25 when a man and woman walked up to the officer and began to interfere.
After being instructed to leave, police said the man threatened to “take the officer’s badge,” before adding “I’ll take your gun.” The officer allowed them to walk away…
