SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – A man accused of striking and killing another man on Ogeechee Road last year, then fleeing the scene– before discussing the incident with a mechanic, was indicted this week.
Clyde Edward Johnson was indicted on charges of homicide by vehicle in the first degree, hit and run, and tampering with evidence.
The indictment alleges he made no reasonable effort to ensure emergency medical services or law enforcement could help the victim he allegedly hit. The indictment also alleges he tried to fix his Honda Accord afterwards…
