CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — Now that hurricane season has officially started, the time is now to make sure you know where to go when a mandatory evacuation is issued for your area.
First thing to know is that the Chatham Emergency Management Agency (CEMA) does not issue volunteer evacuations, only evacuations and mandatory evacuations. The same goes for other area agencies.
