HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (WTOC) – The husband of a Hilton Head woman killed in a 2023 alligator attack sued the neighborhood groups he said were responsible for safety in the community.
The lawsuit says Holly Jenkins was attacked and killed by a roughly 10-foot alligator on July 4, 2023, while walking her dog in the Spanish Wells community in Beaufort County. The complaint says she was found in a neighborhood pond and pronounced dead at the scene.
