SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – The City of Savannah is opening cooling facilities this weekend as dangerously hot temperatures and high humidity are expected to blanket the Coastal Empire.
The National Weather Service is forecasting heat advisories for Saturday and Sunday, with temperatures climbing into the upper 90s and potentially reaching triple digits by Sunday. Heat index values could range from 105 to 110 degrees, especially along the coast.
