CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — Approximately 3,800 gallons of sewage spilled near Lake Mayer Park Friday, a Chatham County spokesperson reported.
The sewer spill occurred in the near the southeastern corner of Lake Mayer Park at Montgomery Crossroads. An official said it happened after a pipe was damaged during mowing.
