BRYAN COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — One of four U.S. service members killed in recent Middle Eastern military attacks grew up in the Coastal Empire, his family told WSAV Thursday.
Army 1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan was killed in action on July 18 at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, Jordan. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 55th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command, at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
“He spent a large part of his childhood in Richmond Hill,” his mother Shari Feehan told WSAV. “We miss our son so much. I don’t think the reality has even begun to hit us yet. We will spend the rest of our lives honoring his legacy and the soldiers that he loved so much.”
