Teresa Dr. fatal stabbing has first hearing in court; Detective lays out details as defendant appears in person

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – A Chatham County judge found probable cause Tuesday to bind a murder case against Frank Scott to a grand jury to look at for an indictment.

Chief Recorder’s Court Judge Joe Huffman’s courtroom heard the case, and Scott, who is incarcerated, appeared in person and in regular clothing at the request of his attorneys.

Scott, 60, is charged with murder in the death of Henry Hughes Cawley, 34, the son of Scott’s girlfriend, referenced as Ms. Palmer.
