SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Hostess City received high praise as the No. 1 small city in the United States, according to a recent ranking by a consultancy group.
Resonance, a group in real estate, tourism and economic development, compiled the rankings. Quantitative and qualitative data were used to determine how “livable, loved and prosperous a city is,” an article by travel band AFAR said.
Small cities were determined as those with populations of less than 500,000 people. Quantitative categories such as air quality index, median gross rent, and number and quality of museums and galleries were used.
