BLUFFTON, S.C. (WTOC) – Powerful storms swept through Beaufort County on Tuesday evening, packing high winds that knocked out power to thousands and left some local families temporarily displaced.
Significant damage was reported at a local residence after a sudden burst of high winds caused a large tree to crash into a home, causing severe damage to the second floor and a parked vehicle.
A neighboring house and a nearby truck also suffered damage from falling debris and high winds.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported…
