HARDEEVILLE, S.C. (WTOC) – California Governor Gavin Newsom made multiple stops across the South Carolina Lowcountry this week as part of his “Take It Back” tour, aiming to rally Democratic voters ahead of the upcoming elections.
The tour comes as South Carolina prepares to be the first state to vote in the Democratic primary for the 2028 presidential election.
Political analysts widely believe Newsom could be a potential candidate in that race.
