CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) – The Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) arrested a man armed with an AR-15 rifle after a shots-fired incident early Wednesday morning.
Just after 2:00 a.m. CCPD officers received multiple calls reporting shots being fired and were dispatched to the 200 block of Larchmont Drive. Officers arrived and found an adult male in the backyard of a residence armed with an AR-15. The man pointed the weapon at them before running.
The suspect dropped the Ar-15 during the chase before eventually being caught on Quacco Road. Neither the suspect or CCPD fired their weapons at each other during the incident…
