SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — A local logistics company employee and a trucking company owner must pay over $820,000 in restitution and serve prison time for a fake transportation scheme, officials announced Friday.
The two 41-year-olds, Philip Charles Smith, of Richmond Hill, and Antonio J. Evans Sr., of Sylvania, were sentenced after pleading guilty to wire fraud.
