PORT WENTWORTH, Ga. (WTOC) – Starting July 1, Port Wentworth will begin enforcing a new ban on semi-trucks traveling through its downtown corridor—an effort city leaders say is aimed at improving safety and helping revitalize the area.
City officials say semi-trucks will be prohibited from traveling on Coastal Highway, also known as State Route 25, between Grange Road and Bonnybridge Road.
