PHOENIX (AZFamily) — From javelinas and coyotes to the occasional beaver, the Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center had a busy year helping Arizona’s wild animals get back on their paws.
The nonprofit released its 2025 impact report, showing it cared for 132 sanctuary residents last year and released more than 74% of rescued animals back into the wild. That’s definitely Something Good.
The center recorded 10,681 visitors, 131 volunteers and 22,097 volunteer hours served. The organization has 27 staff members and received support from more than 2,700 individual donors…
