Anyone going past Rooftop Brew Co. in Interbay the first weekend of September would have seen nothing out of the ordinary – a busy front patio, the Smash That burger food truck, and cars lined up around the block. But a closer look would reveal that the microbrewery was boarded up. Guests weren’t here to socialize and sip, but to buy beer and merchandise salvaged from a recent fire that damaged the building so badly the business’s future is up in the air.
