Authorities in Washington state waded through rising water to rescue a double amputee who became stranded in a hammock during high tide on Tuesday, April 21. According to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office, the man had fallen asleep and was unable to put on his prosthetic legs as the water rose around him. Video shows the man calling for help as deputies pushed through dense brush and waded through water to reach him.
