On Tuesday, Gullo’s Fresh Produce and Classic Bake Shop in Shreveport began serving breakfast, and I had the good fortune to enjoy a delicious breakfast platter.
Everyone who worked there was so welcoming and it’s so inviting inside, like a country cafe with colorful murals on the walls. At Gullo’s, you order at the counter and select your own seat.
There are so many excellent options on the breakfast menu that it was hard to decide. The platter comes with two eggs any style, country potatoes or grits, your choice of bacon, ham, or sausage, and biscuit or toast.
I passed a customer coming out as I entered. Before I could manage a “hello” she was already telling me how wonderful the grits were, so I of course had to try them…
