A man previously in jail in connection with the investigation into a June 18 murder in Cedar Grove has been released by police as the continuing investigation indicated that “another individual is suspected of firing the shots that killed the victim,” according to a Friday news release by Shreveport Police.
Tyrone Thomas, 56, was originally taken into custody during the investigation of the shooting death of Breon Brown, 18, near The Pines apartments in the 8000 block of Line Avenue.
He was booked into jail but not indicted…
