Five months after opening, The Picklr in Louisiana Boardwalk is beating expectations, says local co-founder Chris Phillips. With 400 members and growing, the Bossier City business was singled out by Picklr corporate officials for having the highest retention rate in the country.
“We’ve grown each month, you know, just kind of steadily grown, but no attrition; we haven’t really lost any members, and so we’ve had a great reception in regards to the programming and the communal aspects of it,” Phillips told The Shreveport Bossier City Advocate.
To keep the 11 courts filled during off-peak hours, Phillips is working with Bossier schools to develop high school league play as well as a junior program for younger players…
