Georges Media publications, including The Advocate, Times-Picayune and Shreveport Bossier-City Advocate, piled up a long list of honors in the 2025 Louisiana Sports Writers Association Annual Contest, including one staff member who was named Sports Writer of the Year.
The awards were handed out Sunday during a ceremony in Natchitoches, honoring the best the state has to offer in print, television and media relations.
