SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Shreveport Police Department has confirmed that a 14-year-old girl has died following a shooting at a residence on LeGardy Street.
Police say the victim, who suffered a gunshot wound to the head, succumbed to her injuries after the incident at 2439 LeGardy Street. Detectives have detained multiple individuals who were present at the residence during the shooting as they work to determine what happened.
Investigators are examining whether the shooting was self-inflicted or resulted from an accidental discharge, police said. No arrests have been made as the investigation continues…
