SHREVEPORT, La.– Shreveport resident Danny Cochran is no one-hit wonder.
He returned to the City Council meeting Monday with his neighborhood concerns expressed through jazz and original lyrics. He got the idea last month, which was his first time to present his complaints in a unique way through song.
Monday, Cochran pointed out problems with overgrown grass, hidden fire hydrants and deteriorating roadways in the predominately Black neighborhoods of Hollywood, Cedar Grove, Mooretown, Hollywood Heights, Queensboro, Lakeside, Allendale, Cooper Road and Stoner Hill…
