SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The YWCA of Northwest Louisiana will host its 2026 Sneaker Ball to celebrate seniors.
The event will highlight the YWCA NWLA’s Seasoned Connection Program, which helps older adults stay connected, engaged, active, and empowered within the community.
“We wanted to create an experience that celebrates our seniors—not simply for their age, but for their stories, their energy, their style and the incredible contributions they continue to make in our community,” said Audrey May White of the YWCA of NWLA. “The Sneaker Ball gives our seniors an opportunity to dress up, have fun, dance, connect with one another and simply enjoy life.”…
