Campaign finance reports for a number of races Caddo Parish residents will vote in next month are still being delivered to the state.
State law requires campaign finance reports be submitted by Oct. 5, and many such reports already have been sent to the Louisiana Board of Ethics. Some candidates, depending on how much they raised or spent, don’t have to file while others are behind on reporting their finances.
Here is a look at the campaign finances in some of the major races around the parish.
Caddo District Attorney
State Sen. Alan Seabaugh’s campaign finance report in his run to be Caddo District Attorney covers Jan. 1 to Sept. 24. His report shows he started 2026 with $400,778 in the bank. Seabaugh got $161,266 in campaign contributions and spent $57,245, leaving him with $504,799…
