SHREVEPORT, La. — Nearly four years after the death of domestic violence advocate Petrina Jenkins, her family and friends are continuing her mission of supporting survivors through the Petrina’s Purple Passion Foundation.
Jenkins, a Shreveport native, dedicated her career to helping survivors of domestic violence access resources, shelter and support. She died due to medical complications in November 2022.
