Update 10:37 a.m.:
The Krewe of Highland parade is still on schedule for 1 p.m. as of now. City and krewe officials are monitoring the weather and could reschedule the parade for later this afternoon.
The neighborhood parade will start on Gilbert Drive, near Querbes Park Golf Course, it will travel north, then go west on Gladstone Boulevard. Once at Creswell Avenue it will head north, east on Herndon Avenue, south on Centenary Boulevard, then back to Gladstone heading west and ending at Gilbert Drive.
