SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – The Diocese of Shreveport has announced the passing of a well-known priest in the area.
On Thursday, May 7, the diocese made the announcement about the death of Reverend Monsignor Earl V. Provenza. They say he died early Thursday morning.
Provenza was retired, but still very active in the diocese. Leaders with the diocese say he was a “pillar of the community” who spent his career being a “faithful example” of how to serve others…
