A few storms for Saturday before scattered storms hit on Mother’s Day

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – A couple stray showers should hang around through Saturday before we get our next line of severe storms coming through the nighttime hours of Mother’s Day.

STORMS LIKELY FOR MOTHER’S DAY

  • A line of scattered storms hits the entire ArkLaTex mostly in the nighttime hours.
  • A few showers are possible in the morning hours across the northern half of the region.
  • Big hail & strong winds are definitely possible within these storms.
  • The tornado risk is low, but it is possible to occur.

STORMS POSSIBLE FOR SATURDAY

  • A few storms roam across the southern half of the ArkLaTex throughout much of the day.
  • A stray shower or two is possible to get into the central & northern halves of the region at any point too.
