SHREVEPORT, La. — The Shreveport City Council has approved an agreement to launch a new resource center dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
The council authorized a partnership with the Northwest Louisiana Family Justice Center to operate the service center. The facility will be located inside the North Shreveport police substation on North Market Street.
