As of 2024, we allow concealed carry without a permit, allowing anyone to carry firearms virtually anywhere. When there are no rules and no checks on firearms, you get dead teenagers at the mall. You get dead children at school. You get a nation of people so convinced of the necessity of unchecked gun rights that they will watch the carnage flow again and again and never put two and two together.
